Top 100 High School Football Scores October 7-9, 2021


After seven weeks of double-digit head-to-head play in the high school football America 100, powered by play NFL footballthis week saw only two intra-top 100 games.

Below are all the results with summaries of the big games.

Saturday

Five HSFA 100 teams lost on Saturday.

In Texas, No. 38 Bridgeland lost to rival Cyrpress Ranch 38-28 in a wild tournament outside of Houston. CR took a 28-0 lead, but we were all tied in the fourth quarter.

The Mustangs won it with a 49-yard field goal from Charlie Feris by :42 seconds. A pick 6 by Jonavon Dennis ensured the last win.

In Philadelphia, a 2-4 Roman Catholic team shocked No. 52 La Salle College High School 27-20. The win came a week after La Salle defeated three-time defending champion St. Joseph Prep, No. 54, in this week’s High School Football America 100.

Sophomore Tyseer Denmark had a great game with seven receptions for 203 yards and a touchdown, plus he ran the ball nine times for 30 yards and three points.

In New Jersey, St. Peter’s Prep lost for the second straight week, which will continue the Marauders’ descent in the national rankings after climbing to 22nd place. SPP No. 58 lost to No. 149 St. Joseph Regional (Montvale) 21-14.

In Ohio, #97 St. Ignatius lost to #140 Archbishop Moeller in overtime. The Crusaders bet two-and-the-win at the end of the game.

In Louisiana, Brother Martin #65 defeated Archbishop Rummel #79 45-14

Friday

In Texas, #61 Highland Park choked #92 Longview 21-16

Thursday

In California, No. 24 Servite improved to 7-0 overall and 2-0 in the Trinity League after defeating No. 95 Santa Margarita 48-21. Houston Thomas rushed for 193 yards and 3 touchdowns to win.

In Tennessee, No. 10 Oakland needed a defensive stop at the end to beat No. 114 Christ Presbyterian Academy 27-24 in a battle of the defending champions. The defending 6A champions won their 22nd straight win when Korey Smith sacked Cade Lawn at the Oakland 9. CPA won the Division II-AA title last year.

The Patriots now have 53 straight home wins.
